Jenna Raskin

Jenna Raskin is a visual artist inspired by Love, Peace, Harmony and Healing. It has been her vision and mission to create works of art that touch, energize and empower.
Jenna is passionate about everything she does, but none more than her love of art. She was surrounded by a family that instilled the emotion, wonder and power of art and the importance of philanthropy. The inspiration to paint came naturally and was encouraged by her Grandmother Dorothy Raskin Kosloff and her parents Nancy and Richard Raskin. She was inspired by her Uncle Nahum Tschacbasov, a well known artist in the early 1900’s.
At six years old Jenna sold her first painting, containing images that reflected love and peace. Today, she not only paints from the heart, but through the use of the symbolic heart, creates them as well. Jenna’s original paintings, mosaics, metal art, collage and wood sculptures all exude her warmth, energy and talent.
Believing strongly in giving-back and supporting those in need, Jenna shares her artistic gift by designing individualized hearts and donating them to charities, organizations and individuals to further their cause or recognize accomplishments. She rarely takes a break from creating new and exciting pieces of art and entertains all community-based requests for help. Jenna often seeks out public programs to offer her time and skills to facilitate their fundraising efforts. The impact Jenna has made on Phoenix Children’s Hospital, The Devereux Foundation, Cortney’s Place, Happily Ever After League, Soul Sanctuary and Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Foundation, among others, is notable.
In 2013, Jenna was asked to assist in raising funds for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She was commissioned to create a number of pieces of “Heart Art” to be auctioned at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital 20th Anniversary. Every one was sold. In 2014, Jenna worked in concert with the DeRubeis Fine Art of Metal Galleries Scottsdale to hold a benefit art show, displaying her work, to raise additional donations for Phoenix Children’s Hospital “Heart Center”.
Jenna has created awards for a number of organizations in Phoenix, to include Soul Sanctuary and Childhelp. Jerry Colangelo, Christine Johnson, Michelle King Robson, Jimmy Walker, (by Soul Sanctuary) and Governor Jan Brewer, Nancy and Ronald Reagan Foundation (by Childhelp) have received personalized heart mosaic sculptures to recognize them for the support and contributions made on their respective charity.
Jenna has volunteered her time and talents to lead workshops at Happily Ever After League, The Mariposa Foundation For Girls in the Dominican Republic and Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Foundation, teaching hands on art classes and educating those in attendance about the important role that art plays in our lives. The Hermosa Inn also featured Jenna and her work at one of their Nationally Acclaimed Artist in Residence Series.
Jenna has done all of these things through her art and firm belief in the power of philanthropy. She has made significant contributions to charities in Phoenix, AZ as well as across the United States. Donations of artwork have been made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis TN, the Evelyn Sachs Steiner Home for Girls in Westchester, NY and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Syracuse, NY, to name a few. She was even invited to attend Oprah’s 25th Season show honoring those who made a difference in the lives of others.
Jenna has fostered the development and growth of the Arts in Arizona as evidenced by being chosen to receive the 2014 Mayor’s Arts Award. Her mission to help others has not only continued over the years, but has steadily grown.
